CHAPTER SIX
Cal
Rebecca knew how to handle a horse as well as any of my staff. She mounted Kit Kat with ease and galloped around the corral while I saddled up my horse Major. He was a bit frisky this morning after a few days alone on the ranch. I never let anyone ride him, not even Josh.
“Easy boy.” I patted the Thoroughbred on his rump. He knickered but settled enough for me to mount. I called out to Rebecca, “Let’s go!”
Josh held the gate open for us as we passed through. “Enjoy the scenery! I wish you lots of success in finding the perfect shots. Where are you headed today?”
Looking up into the blue sky, I shielded my eyes from the blazing sun. “I thought we’d start with Spruce Peak Loop and then make our way over to Hidden River Trail. How does that sound?”
“Good choices,” Josh said with a nod of approval. “Ride on, old man.”
Rebecca fell in beside me on the wide trail leading away from the corral. We rode in companionable silence for the first thirty minutes while she took in our surroundings, untainted by my impressions. This way, she saw my world through her own lens.
At the start of Spruce Peak Loop, she paused and reached for her camera.
“Go by the sign marking the trail, Cal. Give me one shot with an easy smile, and then we’ll do another a bit more serious—with you gazing off into the distance like you’re about to embark on an epic journey.”
I guided Major to the trailhead and held the reins loose in my hands. Being the spotlight of any event wasn’t my thing, and my stiff body language spoke volumes in the last photoshoot.
“Think about your face buried in my pussy,” she said.
A bark of laughter exploded from me, and my shoulders relaxed. She snapped a dozen or more shots with a wide grin. Maybe her pictures would actually look nice.
“Beautiful,” she said. “Bet your last photographer wasn’t that inventive.”
“Not even close.”
She smirked. “I could tell. Show me what you’ve got, cowboy. Gaze toward the trail and imagine the most challenging part. Recall that feeling of exhilaration when it’s man against nature.”
I had no idea how the hell to do that, but my mind turned to the moment when I zipped up her dress last night. Blood surged through me again, a raw excitement.
“That’s good, Cal. Whatever you’re thinking, don’t stop.”
My cock hardened, and I glanced at her. She clicked one last time and lowered her camera, her mouth slightly parted.
“Fuck, that’s a hot look. I’ll save that last one for my private collection.”
She nudged Kit Kat up the trail, and I shifted in my saddle. A hardon was excruciating while riding horseback. I needed something to take my mind off it.
“Are you going to add this one to the other one you took on Saturday night of me staring into my glass of whiskey?”
Her sultry laugh drifted on the wind, washing over me.
“Yes, as a matter of fact, I am.
